The jazz collective Ajabu! proudly presents more jazz from Sweden, this time jazz with African influences with saxophone player and singer Sofi Hellborg.

Sofi has played with many interesting African artists, such as Mory Kante, Wasis Diop, Willy Nfor and Tony Allen. She met Tony Allen when she was living and playing in London and Paris in the 90´s and since then they have been talking about of playing together again and finally they now made it happen.

"To Give Is To Get" is a modern and groovy adventure with strong rhythms and jazzy horns, who will take you all the way to Africa and back.

Le collectif jazz Ajabu! nous présente de nouveau du jazz en provenance de Suède, cette fois teintée d'influences Afro avec la Saxophoniste et chanteuse Sofi Hellborg.

Sofi a joué avec plusieurs artistes africains de renom comme Mory Kante, Wasis Diop, Willy Nfor et Tony Allen. Elle rencontre Tony Allen, alors qu'elle jouait entre Londres et Paris  dans les années 90. Depuis cette époque, ils s'étaient promis de rejouer ensemble, voici chose faite avec cet album.
